In Las Vegas when the stars start twinkling, there is no end of things to do. This is a city of many options; there are restaurant which stay open for hours, live shows to see and so much to do you won’t know where to start. If you have plenty of time you can simply work your way down the Strip; start at one end and see how far you can go. Of course your time can be limited in which case you are better off doing some research and checking out exactly what you want, buy tickets to a few shows and hit some of the best nightclubs around. Everyone knows that the casinos and hotels in Vegas are fantastic, but they are not the only sites that you should be looking up on your Vegas vacation.

Start out your evening with something to tempt your palette. No matter what type of food, or style of restaurant you prefer, you are guaranteed to find it; there is everything from fast food, to small diners, cafes to five star restaurants. One of the favourites is the buffets ask your hotel, or even check the local papers and you can get coupons for Vegas buffets. This is also a good way to get pointed in the right direction so you can find the best ones closest to you. One of the best is the Margaritaville Restaurant in the Flamingo Hotel which not only has amazing food but live entertainment as well. Keep in mind that while there is a great array of cuisines there is also the dessert buffet at the Bellagio which is definitely worth a visit.

After dinner, treat yourself to a show, no matter what your taste Las Vegas can cater to you. If you go to the Venetian you can see a spectacular performance of The Phantom of the Opera capturing all the magic of the story and will keep you spellbound. Speaking of spells, there are several magic shows which will entrance you, one of which, the Lance Burton Show at the Monte Carlo Hotel and Casino has been playing since 1996, go and see why it is such a success. Of course, if magic isn’t really your thing you can’t fail to be impressed by the fantastic visions presented by Cirque de Soleil which have several different shows on the Vegas Strip in some of the biggest hotels.

After seeing one or more of these fantastic shows, amble down the strip and stop in at some of the amazing nightclubs. Especially for women only there is the Coyote Ugly bar which is exactly like the movie; wild and casual. For the men there is the trendy Pussycat Dolls Lounge featuring a classy burlesque show. This isn’t even the tip of the iceberg, no matter where you wander on the Strip or off, you can be assured of the time of your life with enough variety to make your head spin!
